Band Endorsement from Ian Gillan of Deep Purple " First time I saw 'Blue on Black' I thought, damn these guys are good and I wasn't alone, the audience loved them. The second time I watched them do a fine job opening for Deep Purple. I'm happy to recommend them and their new CD 'Suckin Out Venom'. Formed in June of 2001, this 3 piece have steadily developed their own 'Signature Brand' of Guitar driven, Weapons Grade, Blues/Rock. Having already played alongside many legends of Rock and Blues, including Joe Bonamassa, Deep Purple, Walter Trout and Peter Frampton, the Band (Keith Howe - Guitar & Vocals, Paul Arnott - Bass Guitar & Vocals and Nigel Masters - Percussion & Vocals) have built a reputation for delivering a 'Power House' night of Rockin' Blues. With two CD's already under their belt, the Band are currently working on their third 'Robert Johnson's Door' with a tentative release date of Spring 2012 - A Band not to be missed! Their influences are many and varied, pulling in the best of Rock and Blues from their seminal beginning right up to tomorrow with their live performances often compared to many of their hero's including Cream, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Taste & Johnny Winter to name but a few. Their original material stands alongside the best of the best and regularly gets airplay worldwide. While the Band puts together the new CD, they continue to promote their latest studio CD entitled "Suckin' Out Venom" endorsed by Deep Purple's Ian Gillan and once again showcasing their signature guitar driven Rock/Blues. |
