Guitars for Life - Charity Gig 02/05/10

Further to our last news item, the date for the "Guitars for Life" Charity gig has been confimred as Sunday 02 May 2010.



The Venue will be the Bridge on Wool Wadebridge with front of house sound provided by Alive Music.



The event will start at lunchtime (Food available) through to the evening (next day is a Bank Holiday).



10 bands have been confirmed for the line-up so far (including Blue on Black and Devils Creek) plus solo/duo acts to cover band change-over's etc.



Other Guest appearances and a full running order will be confirmed in the near future.



It is hoped to get Local Radio involved, to maximise publicity and revenue for the event.



The sole purpose of this day of music is to raise as much money for Cornwall Leukaemia Trust (Treliske Haematology Department) as possible.



There will be a raffle for which each band/ act iss submitting prizes (for starters, Blue on Black have pledged a guitar.



It's going to be a big event and a great showcase opportunity for Cornish musicians helping a great cause.
